As part of my quest for completing the "1001 Movies You Must Watch Before You Die", I have finally seen another great film in the form of "Citizen Kane". Produced, written, directed, and starred by Orson Welles when he was just 25 years old. It was released in 1941 but still feels like it was made for all times and of all generations.
The story is about a death of a man who was greatly known for the love and hate of his people. His life was narated and shown while a journalist researched about the significance of his last word.
What I like about Citizen Kane is its style of story telling. It keeps you interested on its every bit. It gets you always wanting to know more until you reach the end. And when it does end, you feel that beautiful feeling of satisfaction, not wanting it to end in any other way.
They say real great movies don't really get old and Citizen Kane is a perfect example of it.
My Rating is 10/10
