District 9, rare and a real fiction

It's my off again,that means blog time again hehe..I have a split off this week, sunday and thursday,but not anymore for next week, I saw the schedule with my coach, it is back to Sunday-Monday off again, atleast I have more time to rest, more time to surf the net, more time for movies. Speaking of movies, I just watched Peter Jackson's District 9. It really surpassed my expectation. I thought it was just a foreign film created by LOTR Director with unknown actors. ***this contains spoiler*** The story is too alien for me, (Yes! too alien) 'coz it was about Aliens who landed a ship on Johannesburg and later lived with people in District 9. After couple of years, Prawns (name of aliens as called by people), relationships with people has resulted to conflicts. I won't really spoil the story, you should watch it yourself, and please don't watch it in telesync copy, it's still showing in cinemas or wait for it in DVD copy so that you will really appreciate the film. It is one of the fiction films that rarely produced nowadays. With just $30 million budget, you will see prawns live, in the day light, unlike other alien films that are usually shown on screen during night time or in gloomy or animated background just to hide the effects.
It is really worth watching, lessons may learn as you watch it (if you care about it hehe)..

I still have The International and Drag me to Hell to watch later or during my next off. Let's see if these films are also worth spending my off for.
